# Embedding HTML - Section / Body

1.  First insert a blank [section](/da/article/indsaet-sektion-11qmw9x/). You may use any section category, but you will often get the best result with a blank section background.

2. Insert an **Elenent** of the **Widget <>** type into the section.

3.  Doing this will cause a menu to pop up in the right hand side of the screen. You will be presented with two options. Genereally you should select **Inline** (however if you wish to embed a video choose **Media (in background)**.

4.  Choose **Custom** in the widget selector.

5. Shift view to the **Code** tab.

6.  Select _all_ the default code in the field and **Delete** it.

7.  Next up, paste your own code into the box, using the operating system shortcuts.

|| Your code must not contain unsafe links, or it will not be viewable on your website. All links must be prefixed with `https://`.

8.  Remember to **Save** once pasted.

9. **Publish** the website.

| **TIP.** The HTML code occassionally display only on the published website and not inside the website editor.
